Benefits of Hypnotherapy & Hypnosis

Do you ever wonder if hypnosis can help you? If so, then you must’ve thought about the ways via which hypnosis can provide you what you need. These are among the most common questions when people consider seeing hypnotherapist. A few of them are justifiably a little anxious about considering hypnotherapy as a treatment, typically because of misconceptions by what they have seen on the television or in films.

Here are a few benefits you reap from opting for hypnotherapy.

Hypnosis can help treat addictions

Treating someone with addiction requires patience, and it should never be taken lightly. There are many types of addictions, including addiction to food, drug, alcohol, or gambling, and hypnosis can help you get rid of these with ease. Various hypnotherapy styles come into play here that involve complex sessions of regression, Ericksonian therapy and Neuro-Linquistic Programming. Hypnosis can help you regain control of your thoughts and actions ensuring you make the right choices, it also helps alleviate the physical symptoms of addiction.

Hypnosis can help you lose weight and keep it off

One of the primary benefits of Hypnotherapy is to aid people in losing weight. Weight loss can be one of the simplest and most rewarding therapies a hypnotherapist can do but can also be one of the most difficult as well. Hypnotherapy is proven to be 30% more effective than dieting alone when it comes to weight loss.

Hypnosis can help manage chronic pain

If you have an illness or ailment that leaves you in recurrent pain like Fibromyalgia, Arthritis or Migraines then you already know that sometimes it feels like no treatment will stop the pain.  You can employ hypnosis and meditation techniques when drugs and diet have failed to control your condition. Most often, increasing pain can be brought under fast and effective control using hypnosis, and in a number of scientific studies hypnosis and hypnotherapy have been proven to be successful pain supervision techniques. If nothing is going for you when it comes to alleviating your pain, or if you don’t want to take prescription painkillers, you should give hypnosis a chance. Pain managing in hypnotherapy is done only after a diagnosis of your condition from a doctor.

I have been trying to lose weight for years now, and I have never been able to find a solution that actually works. It’s interesting how you point out that weight loss can be one of the simplest and most rewarding therapies a hypnotherapist can do, and that it is proven to be 30% more effective than dieting alone. It seems like this could help me not only get the weight off, but keep it off. I imagine that if it works for losing weight, there could be other benefits as well. I also have a hard time concentrating, so maybe it could help me with that.

  2. In your article, you stated that hypnotherapy is proven to be 30% more effective than dieting alone when it comes to weight loss. My wife has been very stressed and anxious lately because of all the daily responsibilities that she has to complete and someone suggested that she do hypnotherapy. I wonder if a person has to go to a regular physician for a referral in order to receive this treatment.

  3. Wow, I had no idea that hypnosis could help you regain control of thoughts to help fight addiction. My friend has suggested I go to a hypnotherapist, and I was wondering if they could help with my addictions. I’ll have to keep hypnotherapy in mind if it could help with that. Thanks for the information!

  4. It was really helpful when you said that hypnosis can help a person control their thoughts and actions and help ensure that they make the right decisions. I didn’t know that hypnosis can do that. My friend has been addicted to smoking, and I know that it’s greatly affecting her health and daily life. She mentioned that she doesn’t like what she’s doing, she just can’t help it. I want to be able to help her out, and seeing this article just gave me an idea how. I’ll be sure to talk to her family about this. Thank you.

  5. I’ve been experiencing migraine since last week and it’s such a huge hindrance to my work. Good thing I’ve read your article. I had no idea that hypnosis can help manage chronic pain, such as hypnosis. With that, I shall then find this type of service.
