Take Fewer Baths

Water can also cause dryness to the skin. You should skip a few baths and shower after every couple of days.

Do Not Scratch

Eczema causes irritation to the skin which produces an urge to scratch. Scratching might make you feel good in the short-run, but it can cause some real damage to the skin. Excessive scratching can lead to infections. Instead of scratching, you can try squeezing the area slightly.

Also, keep your nails short.

Drink Adequate Amounts of Water

Drinking water goes a long way in keeping your skin hydrated. However, make sure you do not overdo it.

Avoid Substances that Irritate

Make sure that you stay away from things that might have an irritating affect to your skin. Washing powder and dust are two examples.

Wear Socks

If you have itching on the legs, wearing 100% cotton socks can be a good idea. This will prevent your clothes from causing accidental itching.
